From the "Creek" to the courtroom, Katie Holmes (r.) is returning to the small screen to guest-star in ABC's "Eli Stone." "Eli Stone," a drama about an attorney who has an inoperable brain aneurysm that causes hallucinations that are actually visions of the future, is executive-produced by Greg Berlanti, with whom Holmes worked on "Dawson's Creek." "I was at the table read and she was fabulous," ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson said. "It's a great role for her. There's some singing and dancing that she does, and she's exquisite." The episode will air Oct. 21. "Knowing we wanted to bring eyeballs to the show and get people to talk about it, I went to Kate, whom I hadn't worked with since 'Dawson's Creek,' and begged her," Berlanti said. "She said she'd be delighted to do it. ... This is not a one-scene, two-scene thing. She does a lot of work in this episode." - Cristina Kinon Dots all ...
